This means that you will be expected to either invite them to move into your home or pay for their needs if they do not have a great deal of money.
Thai women also are in love with the idea of romance and "true love", and will expect to find romantic surprises woven into their time with you. One more difference that you should pay particular attention to, especially given the fact that there will be plenty of beauties to snag your attention, is that Thai girls are very jealous lovers. If you are honest about your activities then it is not a big deal right away if she catches you looking at another girl or engaging in a 'questionable situation;' but it is likely that when she needs something to hold over you the subject will come back up.
However, if you largely stay loyal to her and treat her well then this should not be a big deal; simply view your first few months as dating as probation with her because she will watch you like a hawk.
